Spring is in the air in our little home community in central Alberta.

Snow is melting, and everywhere you look, signs of seasons past have left their mark.

Roads are filled with the leftover signs of snow-gravel. Brown grass is now exposing the "sleep" of winter, just waiting for spring showers and signs of new life-green grass and leafy buds on trees. Children are anxious to get out their bikes and are willing to do so, donning gloves to protect their fingers against the still chilly air.

It's the perfect weather for sweaters in the morning, warm sun shining against the skin in the heat of the afternoon, and sweaters again as the sun sets. It's my kind of weather.

Changing of seasons can be exciting. It is for us at the Indian Life Ministries office. Did I say office?

YES! We are delighted to announce that we officially have new office space in Langdon, Alberta. This means the office can move out of our home office, and this gives us the opportunity to grow, welcoming new volunteers to help in administrative work, to process all your orders, and to spend focused time in prayer. We also have a better space to welcome friends of ILM. We give God the glory for lining up the details to make this space exactly what we need in this season.

Just this afternoon we welcomed Family Life Canada and the Native Evangelical Fellowship of Canada to the new office for a planning meeting. We are considering where the next Indigenous Couples' Getaway will be hosted and when. Stay tuned for exciting details.

As we enter this new season in a new space, I think of Ecclesiastes 3:1–8, where the Lord tells us:

"For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace."

We are grateful there is a season for everything under the sun, including getting new office space!

During this season of transition from winter to spring-or for us at the office, transitioning from a home office to work office-may we take time to praise the Lord for the beauty found in the transition. Like the smiling faces on the children excitedly wanting to ride their bikes, even if it means warm gloves on their tender fingers to ward off the chilly air.
