Not only did I hear that there was Someone who could deliver me from my drinking but also I began to think that if we didn’t used to drink, we didn’t have to drink now. I began praying that God would bring someone who would help us find freedom. You know what, not only did God deliver my wife and me from our drinking, he also brought a pastor to the North End who started a church among my people.
