Art travelled many places throughout the world. Here he is in Washington, D.C., in 1997, during the Promise Keepers' Million Man March.

Art Whitehawk Begay, founder of Warriors for Christ, passed away peacefully on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2016 surrounded by his family. A Celebration of Life for Art was held on December 30, at Hope Church in Kalispell, Montana.

Begay, 55, was born in Rapid City, South Dakota, on April 17, 1961. He spent his early years there and went to Central Indian Bible College where he received his Bachelor of the Arts degree in Practical Theology. There he also met the love of his life Raelene Gladeau. Art and Raelene had three children, Jolene Begay-McDonald, Jocelyn Begay-Holm and Josiah Begay. Late...
