Letters from Our Readers

Series: Letters from Our Readers | Story 3

As a chaplain in our prison system, we provide a continuum of therapeutic care to people currently incarcerated or in transition from incarceration, and their families, as well as to those who are struggling with mental health issues, addiction, and or criminal behaviour. Our services are transformative and transitional in nature, supporting individuals towards positive life changes.

In support of receiving Intertribal Life newspapers, our participants are hungry for the next issue, many are at my doorstep or on a routine walk. [They tell me]: "We are grateful to you, chaplain, making every effort for us receiving the informative news articles from the community. We are grateful reading and sharing our copy to others who didn't receive their copy. A few fellow participants have begun Bible studies and even praying for our institutions, families, and you, our chaplain."

Thank you and God's blessings for many more years of service amongst us.

-Chaplain H., Saskatchewan
