Loneliness is no respecter of persons and it has increased a lot in the last 20 years.

These two individuals point out that loneliness is a painful issue and one faced by many people today. Loneliness strikes the young and the old; males and females; the employed and unemployed; the married and the single. Loneliness is no respecter of person, gender, age, or position in life.
