Canadian professors launch Indigenous history website

TORONTO, Ont.-Shekoh Neechie: An Indigenous History Site went live in June, coinciding with National Indigenous Peoples Day.

University of Saskatchewan professors Robert Alexander Innes and Winona Wheeler, from the College of Arts and Science's Department of Indigenous Studies, serve on the site's managing board with Indigenous scholars from York University and the universities of Guelph, Toronto, Ottawa and Winnipeg.
