WINNIPEG, MB-Up and coming actress Misty Upham disappeared on October 5 and was later found dead. Actress Juliette Lewis believes that Miss Upham was murdered and she along with Misty's family is calling for an investigation into her murder.

Upham appeared in over a dozen films including August: Osage County and Django Unchained. According to her family, she suffered from depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder. However, they do not believe that the actress was suicidal.

According to reports, upon examining her body, members of her family believe that she was killed some other way.

"I am in shock," Lewis tweeted to indicate how she thinks Upham died. "I pray the police do a murder investigation."

At the time, police were saying that they didn't think "foul play" was involved. Lewis stated that Upham had "known enemies" and she feared for her life.

Upham was just 32 when she died and her father told the media that his daughter's career had been going "great." For that and other reasons, he did not believe that she died by her own hand.

Following the autopsy report, the family awaits the coroner's final determination of how Misty died.
