Dr. Dawn Karima Pettigrew received the NAMMY for “Best Gospel/Inspirational Recording”. The Desire of Nations by Honey Dawn Karima and Cloudwalker won Best Gospel/Inspirational Recording. A motivational speaker, journalist and award-winning filmmaker, she has a BA from Harvard and the MFA in Creative Writing from The Ohio State University. Her doctorate in Native American Studies/Film&Media Studies.
